Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Command Station platform, including the admin web portal at app.commandstation.ca and the Command Station Guard App / CS Guard mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts

Access to the Service requires an account created by an authorized security company. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to access data belonging to another company.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Service.
  • Upload content that infringes the rights of others or contains malicious code.

3. Subscription & Billing

Security companies subscribe to the Service on a monthly basis. Fees are billed to the company account and are non-refundable. We may suspend or archive accounts for non-payment.

4. Data Ownership

Your company retains ownership of the operational data it submits to the Service. We retain ownership of the Service software itself, including the web portal and mobile applications.

5. Location Services

The CS Guard app collects foreground and background location data when a guard is on active duty. Use of the Service constitutes consent to this collection for the operational purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained until the company is permanently deleted, at which point all company-scoped data is irreversibly removed.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Command Station does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with any labor, privacy, and security regulations applicable to your operations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Command Station shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
